Nesting material and droppings are removed, the deck underneath is washed down, and the full panel perimeter is closed off with stainless mesh. Pigeons return to the same array year after year, so the cleanup only holds if the entry points go with it. Once the edge is sealed, the roof stays clear and the panels stop collecting what the birds leave behind.
